COLLECTION, USE, AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

What Is Personal Information?

Personal Information is any information relating to a natural person who is, or can be, identified either directly or indirectly from such information, and includes information such as a user's name, address, telephone number, email address, Internet activity (such as browsing history), or other information directly linked to that person. You are not legally required to provide Personal Information to us, but if you choose not to, we may not be able to provide certain Services, such as delivering a digital product or scheduling a coaching session.

Personal Information You Provide

Regulated Baby Mama collects Personal Information from you when you submit it through the Site, make a purchase, book a session, sign up for our email list, join a waitlist, or contact us.

This may include:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and mailing or billing address;

  • Purchase and order information, such as the products or services you bought and the date of purchase;

  • Booking and scheduling information, such as session dates and times and your time zone;

  • Information you choose to share on intake forms, waitlist forms, or during coaching sessions, such as your goals, your circumstances, and the challenges you'd like support with;

  • Records and copies of your correspondence, if you contact us; and

  • Any other information you provide in your communications to us.

Payment card information is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processors. Regulated Baby Mama does not store your full payment card number.

Coaching often involves talking about your family and parenting situation. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing.

Personal Information We Collect Automatically

In addition to the Personal Information you provide, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information when you visit our Site, such as your IP address, browser type, device or operating system, pages visited, and similar information. IP addresses are ID numbers for the location of your computer or network on the internet. Log files are recordings of the traffic to and from a server. Our website platform logs IP addresses for systems administration and troubleshooting. We review page visits in the aggregate to understand which pages people find useful, so we can improve the Site.

We may use web beacons or similar technologies, including in our emails, to understand whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. Web beacons are small graphic images on web pages or in email messages that collect the IP address of the device, the URL of the page or email, and the time it was viewed. This information may be linked to your Personal Information.

How We May Use Personal Information

We and our third-party service providers may use Personal Information to:

  • respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests;

  • process purchases and deliver digital products;

  • schedule, conduct, and follow up on coaching sessions;

  • provide customer support related to the Site and Services;

  • send you administrative information, including purchase confirmations, session reminders, and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies;

  • send you marketing communications, such as our newsletter, that we believe may be of interest to you, if you have signed up or where otherwise permitted by law;

  • notify you about programs you have joined a waitlist for, such as The Rope Drop;

  • further our business purposes, such as data analysis, developing new products, improving the Site and Services, and determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns; and

  • act as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law; (b) to comply with legal process; (c) to respond to requests from public or government authorities; (d) to enforce our Terms of Use; (e) to protect our operations; (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of you or others; (g) if we believe in good faith that there is an imminent risk of serious harm to you or another person, to contact emergency services; or (h) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.

We may also use aggregate or de-identified data that is not personally identifiable for any legally permissible purpose.

COACHING CONFIDENTIALITY

We treat what you share in coaching with care and keep it confidential, except in the following situations: (a) you give us written permission to share it; (b) we believe in good faith that there is an imminent risk of serious harm to you or another person; (c) we suspect abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult and are required or permitted by law to report it; or (d) disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order.

Coaching is not therapy or healthcare, so information shared in coaching is not protected health information under HIPAA, and coaching communications are not covered by therapist-client privilege. This means coaching records and communications could be subject to a subpoena or court order, including in a custody or family court matter. Please keep this in mind when deciding what to share.

Coaching sessions are not recorded unless both parties agree in writing. We keep coaching notes, if any, for 1 year after your last session and then securely delete them.

How Personal Information May Be Disclosed

Your Personal Information may be disclosed to:

  • our third-party service providers that help us run the Site and Services, such as website hosting, e-commerce, payment processing, scheduling, video conferencing, email delivery, data analysis, and IT services

  • a third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, liquidation, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets, or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceeding); and

  • a third party as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law; (b) to comply with legal process; (c) to respond to requests from public or government authorities; (d) to enforce the Terms of Use; (e) to protect our operations; (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of you or others; (g) if we believe in good faith that there is an imminent risk of serious harm to you or another person, to contact emergency services; or (h) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.

We may also disclose aggregate or de-identified data that is not personally identifiable for any legally permissible purpose.

Regulated Baby Mama does not sell or rent your Personal Information to any third party for any purpose, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Because we do not sell Personal Information, we do not offer an "opt-out" of selling.
